La première conférence française dédiée aux développements iOS et macOS est de retour ! La FrenchKit organisée par Publicis Sapient Engineering / Xebia et CocoaHeads Paris vous donnent rendez-vous le 7 et 8 octobre au Beffroi de Montrouge.
2018 marquait la troisième année de la FrenchKit avec presque 300 participants ! Nous avions présenté une lineup exceptionnelle avec notamment la présence de Mattt, Max Howell, Nick Lockwood et bien d’autres. Comme chaque année, les talks sont disponibles sur Youtube.
2019, l’année des changements
En l’espace de trois ans, la conférence a bien grandi, passant de 200 participants en 2016 à presque 300 l’année dernière. Notre chère venue, le Pan Piper, ne grandissait pas et nous commencions à pousser les murs pour accueillir tout le monde. La FrenchKit 2019 prendra donc place au Beffroi de Montrouge alliant architecture monumentale des années 1930 et modernité d’une infrastructure entièrement rénovée. Avec ces milliers de mètres carrées, ces vastes salles de receptions et son auditorium ce lieu nous permettra de recevoir allègrement nos 400 participants.
Ce fut le reproche de notre édition’18, la disparition des classrooms. Devinez quoi ? Elles reviennent cette année. Au nombre de 14 et réparties durant les 2 après midi de l’évènement, elles permettront aux participants de suivre des travaux pratiques centrés sur des sujets avec une forte valeur ajoutée technique. Pour le reste des 2 jours de conférences, la formule reste inchangée avec des talks en plénière le matin et une soirée pour que tout le monde puisse se retrouver autour d’un Cheese & Wine.

Anastasiia Voitova @vixentael
Software engineer with a wide background, she started as a mobile developer since iOS3. Then she focused on cryptography/applied security, now she’s building security tools for protecting data in different applications. She maintains open source security libraries that allow developers to integrate encryption into their apps and infrastructure easily (currently 11 languages/platforms are supported). Proud to say that her cryptographic software protects user data in small mobile apps, as well as telemetry data of large electrical grid networks.
Daniel Steinberg @dimsumthinking
Daniel is the author of more than a dozen books including the best selling books A Swift Kickstart and Dear Elena. He has written apps for the iPhone and the iPad since the SDKs first appeared and has written programs for the Mac all the way back to System 7. Daniel presents iPhone, Cocoa, and Swift training and consults through his company Dim Sum Thinking. When he’s not coding or talking about coding for the Mac, the iPhone, and the iPad he’s probably cooking, baking bread, or hanging out with friends.
Peter Steinberger @steipete
Peter founded and bootstrapped PSPDFKit in 2011, and has since expanded the company with the goal of providing the highest quality PDF framework for all platforms. While Peter is responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, he never misses the chance to go under PSPDFKit’s hood and get his hands dirty with writing and debugging code. Peter has worked with iOS since the inception of the iPhone, and is regularly invited to speak at conferences around the world. He also organizes Cocoaheads, a meetup for developers that work with Apple platforms. Prior to PSPDFKit, he worked as a Senior iOS Engineer at a startup in San Francisco and taught iOS and Mac development at his alma mater, the Vienna University of Technology.
